Why switch from Jotbus?

A clear, low-friction idea (two commands, no signup, works across 13 named agents and any MCP client) with a detailed, checkable encryption design and an MIT client. Scores are held down by its youth and thin public traction (npm package first published Oct 2, 2026, v0.11.0, about 74 downloads in the week of Oct 12–18, the client repo had 0 stars), free workspaces that expire after 60 minutes, and a hosted service you depend on for anything persistent. We have not run it hands-on.
