Work on Pizza Bot? Verify this listing (free)Open-source, local-first inbox for long-running AI agents, built on DeepAgents and LangGraph
Apache-2.0 desktop, web and terminal app that treats agent work like email: start or schedule a task (or trigger it by cron or webhook), walk away, and finished work lands in Unread while approval requests land in Action. Built with DeepAgents on LangGraph with checkpointed runs that survive client disconnects as long as the api-server keeps running. The api-server binds to 127.0.0.1 by default, and threads, checkpoints, memories, attachments and logs stay in a local data folder; prompts go to the model provider you configure (Amazon Bedrock, Anthropic, Google Gemini, OpenAI, OpenRouter, Requesty or Ollama). Extend it with MCP servers, Agent Skills and plugins; skills become tool-scoped subagents. Human-in-the-loop approvals, long-term memory and folder access you grant explicitly are built in. Installers for macOS (signed and notarized), Windows and Linux (.deb/.rpm, unsigned); Node 24+ to run from source. The README says it was developed at Amazon; the AWS Open Source Blog describes it as a community project, not an AWS service, with no AWS support or SLA. Note: pizzabot.app is an unrelated Slack bot, not this project.
Best for: Developers who want a self-hosted inbox to delegate long-running or scheduled agent tasks and approve the risky steps themselves

Why this score: A well-documented, local-first agent app with a sensible human-approval model, wide model-provider support, MCP and skills extensibility and an Apache-2.0 licence, backed by solid early adoption (about 516 GitHub stars and 53 forks since the repo was created Jun 26, 2026; v1.2.0 released Oct 2; last push Oct 21). Scores below the established agent frameworks because it is an application you configure rather than a library you build with, setup needs a model provider and API keys (Node 24+ from source), Linux packages are unsigned, and the maintainers say there is no official support. We have not run it hands-on.
